Mediagrif Interactive Technologies acquires InterTrade

In order to actively pursue its development strategy, InterTrade announces, on December 23^rd 2010, its sale to world-class eCommerce leader Mediagrif Interactive Technologies. Strong with its dominant presence in data synchronization and EDI business, InterTrade is now part of a larger group of companies with the means to expand its presence in the world of B2B exchanges.

The new ownership will allow InterTrade to invest even more in providing better platforms for EDI exchanges as well as data synchronization, both of which remaining at the center of our organization’s development strategy. InterTrade will therefore continue to expand its presence in the B2B space with a broader service offering and better coverage.

InterTrade acquires GXS Active Catalog

June 7, 2010, InterTrade announced that it has completed the acquisition of all GXS Active Catalog assets. GXS elected to sell Active Catalog to InterTrade, a company known to serve its customers with passion and quality. With this acquisition InterTrade becomes the second largest catalogue service provider for apparel and footwear in North America.

Impact for Active Catalog Customers

Both InterTrade and GXS have agreed to make sure the transition is as seamless as possible for customers. GXS will continue to support existing users of Active Catalog for the duration of the transition period so there is no immediate impact to them.

GXS Active Catalog has been sold to InterTrade Systems, Inc., effective immediately and all Active Catalog contracts and subscriptions in North America are now owned by InterTrade.

No short term changes are expected to happen in the way current customers are using the Active Catalog. Trading partners will continue to use the same interface to upload product information into the catalogue. Retailers will continue to pull information from the application as they have been doing over the years.

InterTrade acquires EDGE portfolio from TIE Commerce

InterTrade Systems is proud to announce the acquisition of the EDGE platform from TIE Commerce Inc. effective October 1^st, 2009. EDGE is a suite of deployed software applications used by thousands of customers that enables the management of EDI documents and enhancement of B2B collaboration with trading partners.

EDGE allows InterTrade to offer a deployed solution which is tied to the InterTrade network and gives its customers the option to manage their own translation software locally. EDGE customers can develop and maintain their EDI maps or have InterTrade do it for them. This is a powerful addition to InterTrade’s line of innovative hosted B2B / EDI solutions which include product data synchronization, direct connection brokerage), Tier 1 interconnection (VAN), visibility of transactions and vendor performance management.
